Cyberbiosecurity Best Practices for Vaccine R&D and Manufacturing Facilities Workshop
Health Security Partners (HSP), in collaboration with the U.S. State Department's Biosecurity Engagement Program (BEP) and the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA), hosted a 3-day workshop on Cyberbiosecurity Best Practices for Vaccine R&D and Manufacturing Facilities from 29 February- 2 March in Hyderabad, India. The workshop brought together a group of 15 IT professionals and scientists from 15 different vaccine R&D and manufacturing facilities across India. During the workshop, national and international subject matter experts discussed the challenges and dangers of cyberbiosecurity incidents, social engineering, data poisoning, and other forms of attacks. Throughout the workshop, participants also discussed solutions for their institutions and identified practical next steps.
